Stonehouse Community Council

Meetings

Are normally held on the 3rd Monday of each month with the exception of July and are open to all members of the public with no need to submit a question or topic.

All community council meetings were suspended due to Covid 19 Pandemic following guidance provided by South Lanarkshire council and the amended South Lanarkshire Scheme for community councils. Scheme-for-the-Establishment-of-Community-Councils-2020.pdf. Virtual meetings were used by the committee to agree on decisions.

Whilst the local lifestyles hall re-opened in February / March 2022 the community council still feel that Covid 19 was virulent in the village and it was prudent to hold back on public meetings .

The community council started back its meetings in June 22 and these continue to be on the 3rd Monday of the Month although the September meeting was cancelled due to the closure of the hall for queen elizabeths birthday and could not be rescheduled the following week due to a public holiday.
