SOUTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL MICRO GRANT FUNDED FROM RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND ADMINISTERD BY SCC
South Lanarkshire Council have provided community councils with an opportunity to award small grants of up to £500 to local groups. Community councils will be provided with £5000 from the Renewable Energy Fund to carry out these awards.
This is a two year trial and SLC will determine if this will continue after 2020.
It should be noted that this is a two year trial.
The grants will be awarded on the criteria which is outlined in the application forms and supplemented by Stonehouse community councils additional criteria. Grant applications will be made once a year, within a six to eight week window. It is anticipated that applications will be open in June and close at the end of September -October with a decision being made at the August-September -October community council meeting. If grants are still available then applications will continue to be accepted.
All organisations submitting forms will be required to priovide a copy of their recent bank statement, details of what the grant will be spent on along with an estimate of costs. A declaration form will also be required to be completed advising the community council that the group has not applied to any other group for the grant.
The forms and criteria are detailed below and can be printed off ready for submission. Please note that forms received before and after application window will not be considered.
