DOVESDALE PLANNING APPLICATION: EXTENSION TO INFILL SITE AT QUARRY

Added on 04 July 2020

A planning application to extend the timescale for the infill of the quarry has been submitted to South Lanarkshire Council planning.

There are essentially two elements to the proposed planning application, namely;

• A requirement to extend the duration of the current infilling permission, Condition 2 of Planning Permission HM/08/0667 imposed a time limit upon the existing infill facility.

• Proposed southerly extension to the existing infill facility.

Condition 2 of the aforementioned permission states;

All operations authorised or required by this permission shall cease, and all plant, machinery equipment, structures and buildings shall be removed and the site restored in accordance with the conditions of this permission not later than 10 years from the date of this permission, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Council as Planning Authority.

Condition 2 is due to expire on 10th May 2021.

it should be noted that a proposed pre planning consulation website is proposed although at this time the community council does not know when this will be made available.  Documents currently available to Community /council are as follows
