Flu Vaccinations

The local Doctors surgery has advised  that the Flu campaign for 2016/17 has started again.   We are now booking appointments and have several Saturday surgeries organised to give flexibility to working patients.

General criteria is all over the age of 65 are eligible for flu vaccination and those under the age of 65 with a chronic illness.   If anyone is unsure if they qualify please ask them to contact the surgery and we will be happy to check.

All 2-5yrs old will be vaccinated in the surgery and letters will be sent to this cohort by the health board.    All primary school children will be vaccinated at their school during the campaign.
