On Thursday 5 May 2022 voters in South Lanarkshire will go to the polls

for the Scottish Local Government Elections.

Polling stations will be open from 7am – 10pm.

Already registered? You will receive your poll card on or around Wednesday 16 March 2022 

Not registered yet? You must register before Monday 18 April 2022 to vote in this election.

 

 Postal Votes

Register for a postal vote before 5pm on Tuesday 19 April 2022 to vote in this election.

You will receive your postal vote by Wednesday 27 April 2022.

 

Proxy

Deadline for applying to appoint a proxy is 5pm on Tuesday 26 April 2022

 

If you are not registered to vote, register by midnight on Monday 18 April 2022 or you won’t be able to vote.
					
					If you wish to apply for a postal vote or make changes to your existing postal or proxy arrangements you must do this by 5pm on Tuesday 19 April 2022.
					
					If you wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf you must do this by 5pm on Tuesday 26 April 2022.
