Local Plan Further consultation

Notice from SLC Planning:

Consultation on:

·         Proposed South Lanarkshire Local Development Plan 2,

·         Strategic Environmental Assessment - Environment Report Annex,

·         Supporting Planning Guidance Renewable Energy.

The Council has now prepared a Proposed South Lanarkshire Local Development Plan 2, Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Environment Report Annex, Supporting Planning Guidance on Renewable Energy and associated documents. As required under the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006 and section 16 of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, South Lanarkshire Council is seeking comments on these documents.

The documents  can be viewed at all libraries in South Lanarkshire and the Council Offices at Montrose Crescent, Hamilton. In addition the plan and associated documents can be accessed through the Council’s website at https://www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk/info/200145/planning_and_building_standards/39/development_plans/2

We would invite comments in relation to these documents during the consultation period which runs until 21st September 2018 at 3p.m. The Council encourages consultees to respond to this consultation using its internet consultation portal on the Council’s website, www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk, or by typing, http://southlanarkshire.limehouse.co.uk/portal/ldp2_1/ldp2c/ directly into a browser address bar.

Written or email comments will also be acceptable. Please specify whether your comments relate to the Proposed Plan, the Environment Report Annex, the Supporting Planning Guidance on Renewable Energy or associated documents and where appropriate refer to the appropriate section or paragraph numbers.
