SLC Consultation on Sustainable Development and climate change

South Lanarkshire Council’s current sustainable development strategy has now reached the end of its lifespan. A new sustainable development and climate change strategy has been drafted, building on what has been achieved so far, and your views are welcome as part of the consultation.
The draft strategy sets out the Council’s overall approach to sustainable development and addresses the challenges and opportunities of climate change. It outlines the changes in sustainable development and climate change policy and the Council’s proposed strategic outcomes for sustainable development and climate change over the next five years.

You are invited to submit any views/comments you may have in relation to the draft strategy and in particular views/comments on proposed strategic outcomes and how we intend to achieve them.
