UPDATE ON COMMUNITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS

Following the formal call for nominations to form a new community council under the New south Lanarkshire councils Scheme Stonehouse received sufficent nominations to form the community council at its Annual General Meeting which is scheduled for Monday 17th November 2014.

Prior to the formal AGM an inaugral meeting will be held by the Independant chairperson.

There are also a number of Casual vacancies available and nominations should be sent to the community council chairman Mr George Smith
